Tom Potter

BSc BA DipArch RIBA
Associate, Architect, Healthcare Lead

Senior Architect at P+HS and one of the Practice's Healthcare Leads, Tom was appointed to the role of Associate in October 2020.

Specialising in the design and delivery of sustainable healthcare schemes, Tom has developed several primary care schemes to BREEAM Excellent and has also led on a number of complex acute schemes across the country, including maternity theatres, major trauma wards and endoscopy services. Projects include new-build, extension and refurbishment works, traditional and modular construction approaches and working within sensitive and heavily constrained site locations.

Tom is a member of the national Architects for Health group and jointly co-ordinates the Healthcare Forum within the practice, responsible for sharing best-practice and specialist knowledge across project teams.

A strong advocate for the use of technology within the industry, Tom has a thorough appreciation for BIM and the benefits it can bring to the client and design team. He acted as Project Co-ordinator for the first BIM Level 2 scheme delivered by the practice and has championed the use of Virtual Reality for aiding the design process and empowering clients with a better understanding of the scheme in progress.
