Angela joined P+HS in 1989 after a spell in local government. Angela became an Associate in 2003, heading up one of our complex project teams delivering a range of specialist housing and healthcare. Angela’s experience includes social housing projects throughout the country, including over £150m programme for Home Housing from Newcastle to Harlow, comprising family housing, special needs housing and specialist care units.
In addition, Angela has extensive hospital experience, including the design and delivery of almost all the specialties within an acute setting. These involve careful management of users and stakeholders, and leading and co-ordination of a multi-disciplinary design team.
Current and recent projects include the £20m Friarage Hospital Development in Northallerton, one of the first national ‘Procure 21’ projects comprising paediatrics, pathology, pharmacy, women’s health and maternity schemes, together with a new energy centre. Angela specialises in highly-serviced acute schemes, managing maternity and neo-natal care services, endoscopy, theatres and renal service.
Current and recent housing projects include advising North Tyneside Council on a £100m PFI, and a new £30m care scheme in London.
