Chris joined the practice from private practice, becoming an associate in 1989 and a partner in 1992 and a Director following the incorporation of the practice in 2004.
He works out of both the Leeds and Stokesley office, concentrating on developing architectural concepts for individual buildings or schemes. He has been responsible for the design of a number of the Practice’s award winning schemes, including residential schemes at St Johns Gate, Middlesbrough and medical surgery at Mowbray House Northallerton.
Chris has a particular expertise in residential work and was responsible for the practice’s work for Home Housing on Project Argo, an Egan Demonstration Project.
He has recently been responsible for the team’s delivery of initial designs for 1000 sheltered flats on thirty sites, for the North Tyneside PFI.
