Phil, joined P+HS in November 2004 becoming an Associate in 2008, and a Director in October 2009. Based in our Leeds office, Phil has brought his considerable experience to over £50m of Integrated Health, Social Care and Education schemes.
Responsible for the RICS shortlisted Walkergate Park Hospital in Newcastle, one of the most advanced specialist units of its kind in Europe, Phil has also been heavily involved in the Nuffield Hospital framework and NHS LIFT schemes across South Yorkshire, recently seeing two new schemes for Barnsley LIFT obtain planning permission.
Phil has forged strong links with partner organisations developing sustainable and time saving solutions for school sites using off site construction methods. In 2008, Phil addressed the Construction News Conference at the Royal Society of Medicine, sharing his knowledge and expertise of off site construction plans with BSF delegates.
This year Phil took a few days to cycle around Europe with some of his Leeds team admiring the architecture (though we suspect there were quite a few beer stops along the way): he is also a keen participant in inter- office football challenges — all friendly rivalry of course and further demonstrating his superb team building skills.
