This is the flagship scheme in Redcar and Cleveland Council’s programme for Redcar’s Renaissance’ which is promoting the development of a 35 acre site to provide a new Sports Complex and Swimming Pool, a Visitor Centre and other leisure facilities, underwritten by the development of 200 sea front apartments and 140 family homes.

P+HS have been retained by Persimmon Homes, to masterplan the entire mixed use scheme and to prepare initial designs for the housing, leisure complex and visitor centre. The work has been undertaken in close co-operation with the Council and the scheme now has planning consent and P+HS have issue tenders for the construction of the leisure complex, with a start on site planned for spring 2008.
