Charlotte Carlyle

Charlotte joined P+HS Architects in September 2025 as a Part 1 Architectural Designer, based in the Leeds studio. She recently graduated with a BA (Hons) in Architecture from Leeds Beckett University, where she developed a keen interest in socially responsive design and sustainable architecture.

During her studies, Charlotte was awarded the West Yorkshire Society of Architects Prize in recognition of her academic excellence and design innovation. Her dissertation explored the influence of heteronormative frameworks on the built environment, examining how rigid design norms can create exclusionary spaces. Charlotte’s design approach focuses on reflecting the diversity of human experience and promoting inclusivity in architecture.

At P+HS Architects, Charlotte is eager to contribute to a variety of live projects, gain practical experience, and further develop her skills within the healthcare sector.
