Ian Mckenzie

Ian is a Senior Architect with over 25 years experience in practice. Before joining P+HS in September 2023 Ian worked across multiple sectors and has wide-ranging experience in commercial, healthcare, education, and residential projects.

Working in medium and smaller North East practices Ian has been involved in a large number and variety of new build and refurbishment schemes, including listed buildings. He has also previously spent several years at large London practices where he worked on a variety of healthcare schemes including a £13 Million elderly care hospital in Newham and community health centres as part of the NHS LIFT programme. Ian was also involved in a number of high specification residential projects in central London as well as the flagship transport projects of Kings Cross Station and the Crossrail link.

Ian brings strong construction detailing and specification skills to P+HS and is currently working on the delivery of a new private out-patients facility at Parklands, Bolton.
