Kate Baker

Kate joined P+HS Architects' Stokesley studio in 2021 after graduating from Northumbria University with a degree in Architecture (RIBA Part 1). While working in practice, she completed her Master's degree (RIBA Part 2) and Architecture Diploma (RIBA Part 3) through the Degree Apprenticeship route, qualifying as an Architect in 2026.

Kate has developed a strong specialism in healthcare design, working on a wide range of projects including maternity, diagnostics, mental health, and urgent care facilities. Her experience spans new-build, refurbishment, and modular developments, with responsibilities ranging from stakeholder engagement and planning applications to technical delivery and multidisciplinary team coordination. She has a particular interest in creating patient-focused environments that support both health outcomes and user wellbeing.
