Lucy Jordan

Lucy joined the P+HS Newcastle studio as an Architectural Designer after completing her BA (Hons) Architecture (RIBA Part I) at Newcastle University.

With a strong interest in the relationship between design, socialisation, and well-being, her final year project explored a co-housing scheme combined with a rehabilitation facility, incorporating yoga therapy as part of the treatment process.

Her dissertation, titled “Is the Experience of Women in the UK Construction Industry Improving to the Extent Representation in the Media Suggests?”, reflects her passion for gender studies and investigates the lived experiences of both women and men in the construction industry.

Lucy is now looking forward to gaining valuable practical experience at P+HS and progressing towards her Part II qualification.
