Nicole Broadbent

Nicole is a marketing and communications professional with a varied background spanning journalism, academia, publishing and digital communications. She enjoys finding engaging and accessible ways to communicate complex subjects and connect them with the right audiences.

Before joining P+HS, Nicole worked in academic publishing and communications. She also has a longstanding background in philosophy, having studied and taught the subject for more than a decade. Her particular interest in environmental ethics led to work within wildlife management and conservation, including teaching ethics to conservationists, rangers and ecologists – an experience that continues to shape her curiosity, critical thinking and interest in the relationship between people, places and the wider environment.

At P+HS, Nicole works across communications, content, events, awards, case studies and digital marketing, and particularly enjoys uncovering the stories behind our people and projects.

Outside of work, Nicole enjoys supporting conservation initiatives, birding and travelling home to South Africa whenever she can – ideally disappearing into the bush in search of elephants – and is always happy to disappear down an occasional research rabbit hole.
