A New Year Message from Chris Dennis
A New Year Message from Chris Dennis
08 January 2024
In what is becoming a tradition at P+HS Architects, MD Chris Dennis has been taking the opportunity of a new year to reflect on the past year’s achievements and look ahead to what’s in store over the next 12 months:
“There’s no denying that 2023 was a successful but challenging year: we were saddened to see some great names in the construction profession disappear, but through hard work and dedication we were able to not only sustain our practice but grow, buoyed up by a robust business, our exceptional teams, and our clients.
As well as our project successes, we have seen further growth in the practice as our colleague head count passed the 100 mark. We celebrated progression within our teams too, with several promotions as well as colleagues gaining additional education and specialisms as they continue to offer the highest levels of expertise to our clients. It emphasized once again for me the value of our people – their passion and dedication to give their best is just exceptional.
Other highlights over the year included a return to the AJ100, being named Architectural Practice of the Year by Healthcare Estates (the fourth time!), national recognition for our apprentices, three students graduating as Architects, two new MCIAT qualifiers and one member of staff achieving FCIAT.
So, what next? Continuing to build on work started in 2023, we will be issuing our Social Impact policy this year, our Practice Leads will be once again sharing their specialist knowledge with clients. And there will of course be many more great schemes that enhance people’s lives.
There will be a new office too. P+HS Architects are opening their fourth office in 2024. Situated in the heart of Manchester this new location will support our continuing growth and development as a leading architectural practice serving our clients across the UK.
There are exciting times ahead and I’d like to personally thank every individual who has been a part of our journey so far and continues to support us into the future. So, to colleagues, clients and all who work with P+HS Architects, thank you and very best wishes for 2024.”
