A new development for Karbon Homes and South Tyneside Adult Social Services. P+HS Architects have designed a mixture of bungalows and apartments for people with complex learning disability needs, alongside supporting staff accommodation for a number of care providers. All dwellings have access to a communal landscaped garden within a central courtyard space, where the bungalows have access to private and semi-private garden spaces also, enhancing the variety of offerings to different residents.
Able Construction have been appointed and will work in partnership with P+HS Architects, CK21, Storm Tempest and Southern Green to deliver the scheme. We hope that these bespoke homes will be welcoming their new residents in late 2024 /early 2025.

Fantastic to see real progress on this scheme. The apartment block to the North is well on its way and up to the first floor, whilst the bungalows internal spaces are really starting to take shape.

Fantastic to see some site activity with invasive species strip by specialist contractors and investigation on site ahead of the HV cable diversions getting underway.
