Summer Fun for Stokesley

Colleagues from our Stokesley office had a fun-packed day with their families at this year's summer event. The wonderful Northallerton Rugby Club hosted, fed and watered the team in great style and even the weather got into the spirit by not tipping rain on the proceedings.

With games for all ages - duck duck, goose - higher or lower - Jenga and rounders, there was something for everyone to throw themselves into. One overenthusiastic member of the rounders team did unfortunately end up in A&E but our on-site ICU nurse and the rest of the amazing NHS patched him up and even got him back in time to enjoy some food and the remainder of the day. Thank you Robyn and The Friarage Hospital!

It was still a great day in spite of the unplanned drama and there were medals all round, but the top prize for character of the day went to Bertie the dog for his persistent tennis ball stealing talents.

Thanks to our wonderful organisers for the event Lauren Sturman and Pete Stead. See you next year!
