On Site Father James Walsh

A new development for Karbon Homes and South Tyneside Adult Social Services. P+HS Architects have designed ten bespoke, specialist supported living bungalows for people with autism and complex learning disability needs, alongside supporting staff accommodation for a number of care providers.

We have worked closely with key stakeholders to understand the specific individuals identified and their care needs, to create a homely environment whilst ensuring staff and resident safety. All ten dwellings have access to a communal landscaped garden within a central courtyard space, where six of these dwellings have access to private garden spaces also, enhancing the variety of offerings to different residents.

Able Construction have been appointed and will work in partnership with P+HS Architects, CK21, Storm Tempest and Southern Green to deliver the scheme. We hope that these bespoke homes will be welcoming their new residents in October 2024.

The view from above really helps to give an indication of the progress of each of the plots (semi-detached bungalows) and where we are within the build programme.
