5 Years for Jess

The early part of the year is always a busy time for celebrating colleague anniversaries and 2023 is no exception.

Jess Newton hit her 5-year milestone with P+HS this month and it feels as though her time here has flown by. A qualified architect with a passion for environmental issues and sustainability, Jess joined the team in 2018, rapidly making her mark in the practice and recently taking on a mentoring role.

Jess said: “I have learnt a great deal throughout my 5 years, in particular in relation to the residential and healthcare sectors and look forward to the challenges and opportunities ahead!”

As well as project successes, Jess has thrown herself into extra-curricular roles: she is a mental health champion, a key player in our sustainability group and a great organiser of social events! She is also proactive within the wider construction profession, for several years fulfilling the roles of Student Liaison, Secretary and Vice Chair for NAWIC NE and recently being appointed as Chair.

Jess, we are not sure how you fit it all in, but long may you continue to do so! Your infectious enthusiasm and dedication are a true asset to the company.
