National Apprenticeship Week

It's National Apprenticeship Week! Running from 5th to 11th February 2024 this is an opportunity for the education and skills sector to celebrate the achievements of apprentices around the country and the positive impact they make to communities, businesses, and the wider economy.

The theme for this year's National Apprenticeship Week, announced by The Department for Education is ‘Skills For Life’.

At P+HS Architects we support a wide range of people who are starting out on their career into Architecture. From week long placements for school age students, through Day Release for students of architecture and technology, to apprentices and T-level students. We see the increasing opening up of routes into the profession as a positive move towards increased diversity and equality of opportunity.

Director James Almond commented: "We are delighted to support the new and emerging talent within the industry. The support provided by the NAW and training provided via colleges and universities is critical to the ongoing development of staff, the industry and fundamentally the practice. We holistically support all our students with their studies which is validated with the enormous success that they achieve."

National Apprenticeship Week is a chance to celebrate all our colleagues who are working their way through their architectural training, and we applaud them all.
