World Mental Health Day

The advent of World Mental Health Day on Sunday 10th October is a reminder to all of us that mental health matters.

No matter where we are or what we do, mental wellbeing is an aspect of all of us that we should care for in the same way as our physical wellbeing. For those times when people need support, it's good to know that we're not alone and help is at hand. It could be in our family or friend groups, work colleagues and Mental Health Champions or the kindness of strangers. Wherever you feel comfortable, start a conversation today.

There is also a host of online support and organisations that provide information, advice and practical help. Here are a few as a reminder:

The Mental Health Foundation

The Architects Mental Wellbeing Forum

The World Health Organisation recognises World Mental Health Day on 10th October every year. If you're interested to find out more, you can read about this year's theme 'Mental Health in an Unequal World' at the World Federation for Mental Health.
