Ben Fields

Since joining P+HS Architects in 2018, Ben has played a key role in the successful delivery of projects across the residential, healthcare, acute healthcare, and industrial sectors. As a highly skilled Architectural Technologist, he brings technical excellence, creativity, and a collaborative approach to every stage of design and delivery.

Based in one of Leeds’ thriving technical teams, Ben is recognised for his versatility and leadership in managing complex, multidisciplinary projects. His experience spans a broad portfolio — from specialist healthcare and mental health facilities to innovative residential and industrial developments — each benefiting from his meticulous attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Driven by a passion for contemporary residential architecture, Ben takes pride in creating environments that are both practical and uplifting. His recent work includes leading the technical delivery of The Mount, a sensitive residential scheme built adjacent to a Grade II listed building, providing 12 affordable homes for residents aged over 55.

Ben also led the Laburnum Grove project, which achieved national recognition — shortlisted for Best Affordable Housing Development (£5M–£15M) at the Northern Housing Awards 2025, and Highly Commended at the LABC Building Excellence Awards 2025. These accolades reflect his dedication to delivering projects that combine design integrity with exceptional build quality.
