Mark Heron

Mark's first introduction to P+HS Architects was in 2005 as a school student on a week's work experience in 2005. Over the years, Mark came back to work with us during holidays before embarking on his architectural studies at university, spending a full year with us in 2010 for a year out placement. In 2012 he became a permanent member of the team, continuing his studies on a part-time basis and graduating as a fully qualified Architect in 2016.

Mark is a key member of our residential team. Undertaking projects for both affordable and private housing, he has worked on a range of projects from bespoke apartments to large master planning sites.

A keen advocate for accessible buildings, Mark has overseen the conversion of a building in Driffield with specialist accommodation for wheelchair users and other care and support schemes in Hull and Hartlepool. Recently he has been involved in two significant schemes for older age care in Leeds as well as affordable housing projects in the North East.
