James joined P+HS Architects as an Associate in 2016, becoming an Associate Director the following year and in 2018 was appointed as a Director of the practice. As of 1st of October 2024, James became Managing Director, bringing extensive experience and vision for the future to his new role.
A RICS chartered Project Manager, James brings a wealth of project delivery experience that has allowed P+HS to develop its range of support services offered alongside the core business of architectural design.
James's extensive client focused project management experience spans a range of sectors, from Healthcare and Education to Central Government and Industrial. He has led multi-disciplinary teams to deliver projects and programmes of work both at home and abroad.
Recent projects since joining P+HS include the successful delivery of a programme of work with Locala: upgrading and improving experience and efficiency of community healthcare services; two large commercial schemes for manufacturing operations and the delivery of a brand new private hospital for Ramsay Health Care on Teesside. James has also worked closely with Ramsay on a roll-out of healthcare facilities across the UK.
