Martha is an experienced Senior Architect with a background working on large scale healthcare and commercial projects.

An accomplished and motivated architect with over 20 year’s professional experience, Martha is an advocate for the integration of art, architecture and interior design to deliver a collaborative response in realising client aspirations. Her previous work ranges from cultural design projects including a black box theatre to large commercial commissions including a hotel and conference centre.

Martha is skilled at client and stakeholder engagement to deliver successful projects. Since joining P+HS Architects Martha‘s project portfolio has included healthcare, commercial and refurbishment schemes. She was design lead for a new £27m mental health facility in York for TEWV completed in Spring 2020 which won BBH Best Interior Design Award 2021 and she was Interior Design Lead for a £30m Care Home for Hammerson Nightingale which won the BBH Award for best social care building in 2021.

Other recently completed works include; the interior design for the new £10m Sir Robert Ogden Macmillan Centre in Northallerton, the on-site delivery of a refurbishment project for North Star Housing Group's offices in Stockton-on-Tees, and the Interior Design and Arts Collaboration for a £42m mental health facility ‘Project Fitzroy’ in Northampton for St Andrew’s Healthcare.
